Push-in thermocouples are primarily used for measuring temperatures in liquids and gases. The application areas are, among others, in the HVAC, kiln and industrial equipment engineering sectors.

The connection head form B is suitable for ambient temperatures up to +100°C. The support
tube is made of steel. When using a counter flange, see type sheet 90.9725, the installation
point can be sealed up to 1 bar pressure.
Thermowells made of various materials protect the measuring insert against chemical
influences and mechanical damage. The selection of a suitable thermowell material depends on
the application conditions.
The measuring insert is equipped with thermal pairs (thermocouples) according to
DIN EN 60 584 and DIN 43 710 class 2. Versions with two thermocouples are also possible.
Form B DIN 43 729, die-cast aluminum, M 20x1.5; IP54, ambient temperature -40 to +100°C
Form BUZ, die-cast aluminum, M 20x1.5; IP65, ambient temperature -40 to +100°C
Form BUZH, die-cast aluminum, M 20x1.5; IP65, ambient temperature -40 to +100°C
Form BBK, plastic, M 20x1.5; IP54, ambient temperature -30 to +130°C
Note: reduced ambient temperature range when using a head-mounted transmitter, per
data sheet 70.7010
